We Are on Mission
Yes, we are missional in our thinking and always looking for opportunities to spread the Gospel to new areas; indeed, all four fields of service.
Why The Light of the Nations
International Ministries?
It’s a fair question. Consider the things you read on this page and throughout this site to decide for yourself about our desire for Kingdom expansion.
Connecting historical perspective to the future:
The right concept…
It makes sense to work with indigenous leaders who know the language, the culture, and are familiar with the religious world view of the
people.
The right contacts…
We have the insiders’ edge on forming strategic partnerships with national leaders. Our relationships have developed naturally over the last 30 years of witness in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Thus, we are better able to avoid conflicts created by cross-cultural misunderstandings.
The right strategy…
Our strategy remains faithful to the dual mandate of Christ: To fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-19) and to obey the Great Command (Leviticus 19:18; Luke 10:25-37).
The right approach…
We empower local communities to achieve self-sufficiency as quickly as possible to avoid unhealthy dependency on foreign aid.
the Life-Cycle of Mission Agencies:
It is important to understand how sending agencies are birthed and flourish and may potentially die. Consider this.
